The next stop is the metal works. Here, refined alumina is converted to aluminum.
Aluminum production begins with bauxite, a type of soil similar to clay, that exists near the equator. Bauxite is mined from a few meters underground.
The bauxite is then transported to the soil washed out of the mill and bauxite is passed through the grinder.
Alumina or alumina is extracted from bauxite.
Alumina is separated from bauxite by a hot solution of caustic soda and lime.
The mixture is heated and filtered, and the remaining alumina is dried into white powder.
The next stop is the metal works. Here, refined alumina is converted to aluminum.
The manufacture of aluminum, alumina, electricity and carbon requires three different raw materials.
Electricity runs between the anode and the cathode, both of which are made of carbon. The anode reacts with oxygen in alumina to form carbon dioxide.
The result is liquid aluminum, which can now be obtained from batteries.
Liquid aluminum is cast into "strong > extrusion ingot or ingot or casting alloy > > all depends on what it will be used for.
Aluminum is converted into different products.
Extrusion technology offers virtually unlimited possibilities for the design and provision of numerous applications.
During extrusion, the aluminum ingot is heated and squeezed by a forming tool called a die.
Aluminum is malleable. Aluminum foil can range from 60 cm to 2-6 mm, and the final foil product can be 0.006 millimeters thin. It still does not allow light, incense, or taste to enter or flow out.
A process for making rolled products, such as plates, strips, and foils.
Cast aluminum alloys are cast in different shapes. Metals will be remelted again, such as rims or other automotive components. The composition of the cast alloy can be tailored to suit its further use.
Recycling scrap aluminum 5% only needs to make new energy.
Aluminum can be used repeatedly, with an efficiency of 100%. In other words, the quality of the aluminum is not lost in the recycling process.
The recycled product may be the same as the original product, or it could become a completely different product. Airplanes, cars, bicycles, ships, computers, household appliances, wires and pop cans are all sources of recycling.
Highlights of aluminium are obtained from the production, use and recycling of bauxite.
